Alum-Maiee

--->Maiee is the only child of the royal family of Fayne, and is the first human priestess ever in history; previous priests/priestesses have always been elven. However, despite her heritage, she feels rather detached from her family, since she was, for the most part, raised by her nanny and servants. Although she has plenty at her disposal, she uses it for good causes, and is not conceited about her wealth. Being Priestess also requires her to travel (mostly around the major cities and capital), so that she may perform her duties.

She is a sweet person, but can be arrogant and stubborn. When she decides to do something no one can stop her, and it makes her look unintentionally rebellious. Maiee is proficient with magic, typically enchantments granted from otherworldly powers. She was raised to be a proper young lady, and although she tries to strike out on her own and appear as an individual, she always has to have someone with her, and dislikes being alone. She is constantly looking for other peoples approval.

The Alum in the front of her name indicates her status as Priestess.

Navousaiee

---> She was born under the name Navousaugen (nah-voo-saow-gan ) and has been nicknamed Navi. Her youth was extremely chaotic; she was raised by five aunts (one of whom is Cohl's mother, making them cousins) and was more of a trophy to them than an actual niece. There was no father involved in her conception, a fact concealed from the priests of Fayne by her mother until she was mortally infected with a holy poison and forced to reveal it. She was sealed in ritual with Maiee the day the priestess began her pilgrimage, and is fiercely loyal to her.

She is also inexplicably sterile, perhaps due to the fact that she was constructed by Fayne for the sole purpose of serving Maiee. She is very humble and peppy; she is a source of laughter and force for the team, but sometimes her energy makes her seem stupid. She is romantically interested in Zach, who rarely shows affection for her out of shyness. She is good with a variety of subjects from dragon care to alchemy, but was never able to specialize in something and truly master it. She is however adept at healing, sunbathing, and making loud excited squeally noises.

Cohl Zepplin

--->Cohl is the only child of an inventor. At a young age his parents split up; his mother works as a maid in the royal council in the capital (along with his five (?) aunts). His father and himself, meanwhile, reside in Belis. Although his father is shunned by society as a crazy man because of his inventions, Cohl sees him as a genius, and a role model, and wishes to follow in his footsteps.

Cohl is always seeking the knowledge and enlightenment of power. Because he is always thinking of the future, his views on life and the world are unrealistic, which makes him ignorant. He is carefree, and lives as such, going and doing whatever he pleases, whenever he chooses. This always got him into trouble at school. Ironically, one of his best friends is the timid and conservative Zach, and Cohl is constantly trying to bring some excitement into the alchemists' life.

Zachariah Lindbaum

---> Zach was born into the aristocracy of a family of High Alchemists. It has been tradition in his family for the eldest son to follow in their fathers footsteps, becoming the next High Alchemist, although instead of doing so Zach wishes to become a scholar. He was born and raised in Belis, and has never really left except to gather supplies from the surrounding wilderness. Zach is an only child; when he was very young, his mother died giving birth to a younger sister, and sine then he has been afraid of women. When in close proximity with a girl he becomes extremely nervous, and is constantly stuttering, correcting himself and feels alltogether bashful and embarrassed. At the age of twelve he left with his father to a nearby forest to gather herbs, but was separated and attacked by a vicious group of arachnos, and developed a deathly fear of spiders and other bugs.

Zach is extremely shy, antisocial, and always cautious. He dislikes taking risks, and will choose the safest way out of a situation. The only real friend he has is Cohl (and his pet peregrine falcon, Zepher), who he met during school and has helped with his inventions. Zach was a successful student, being the youngest to graduate from the school of alchemy in Belis in fifty years. However, he keeps to himself and rarely goes outside, and is consequently quite pale. Zach is a neat freak, and nothing bothers him more than a mess. He is polite and proper, and is kind, but oftentimes his kindness makes him gullible and allows people to use him.
